OBITUARY

Lillian Hailey Hedge, known to most as Lilly, of Union, MO, departed this life in St. Louis, MO, on December 27, 2015, having reached the age of eleven years, nine months and twenty-one days. Lilly was born in Creve Coeur, MO, on March 6, 2004, daughter of Keith Hedge and Alicia Rachael Ashby.

Lilly is survived by her parents, Alicia Ashby-Maxwell and husband, John, of Union, MO and Keith Hedge and girlfriend, Heather Lackey, of St. Clair, MO; by her grandparents, Cindy and Paul Hartzell of Union and Tammy Lindsey of St. Clair; by her great-grandmother Billie Hartzell of Union; by her step-grandparents, Bill Maxwell and wife, Barb, of Union and Ruth Maxwell of St. Clair; by her brother, Carrick Maxwell of Union; by her sisters, Lyla Ashby and Lexie Underwood, both of Union; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Lilly was being raised in the Baptist faith and enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in Union, MO, as often as she could. She was currently a sixth grade student in the Union R-11 School District. Lilly loved school and enjoyed her many friends. Lilly was a very active girl and loved the outdoors and many sports, especially swimming. Going camping with her family was her favorite vacation. She also loved listening to music, playing with her siblings and fixing her hair. Nothing made her happier than the time she spent with her family.

A sweet and loving daughter, step-daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, step-granddaughter, sister, niece, great-niece, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 and after 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Fusco officiating. Interment was in St. Clare Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair. Memorials may be made to the family c/o Russell Colonial Funeral Home.
