OBITUARY

Donna Gene Zieroff of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO, on November 15, 2014, having reached the age of seventy years, and twelve days. Donna was born in St. Louis, MO, on November 3, 1944, daughter of Charles Edward Raymo and Linda Raymo nee Barnette. On November 28, 1964, she was united in marriage to Joseph Charles Zieroff and two daughters came to bless this union.

Donna is survived by her husband, Joseph Zieroff, of Lonedell, MO; by her daughter, Chris Coleman and husband, Scott, of Lonedell; by two grandchildren, Casey Coleman of Lonedell and Cydney Coleman of St. Clair MO; by two great-grandchildren, Jaylah and Jayden Coleman of St. Clair; by four sisters, Joan Friend and husband, Bud, of Luebbering, MO, Pat Houston of Lonedell, Charlene Clinton of Lonedell and Tina McClard and husband, Gary, of Lonedell; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Linda Raymo; and by her daughter, Elizabeth Zieroff.

Donna was a Christian and member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Luebbering, MO. She had worked at various part time jobs during her life, including Magna Visual in St. Louis, MO, as a cook at Linda’s Café in Lonedell, MO, Lonedell R-14 School and St. Clair Nursing Center in St. Clair, MO and most recently had worked in the office of Ennis Accounting in St. Clair, MO. Her greatest joy was caring for her home and family. She loved living near her daughter and playing an active role in the lives of her granddaughters and now her great-grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Going fishing with the family was another of her hobbies. The wonderful memories created with all of her family will be treasured by them all forever.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 18, 2014, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Luebbering, MO, with Father Bob Knight officiating. Interment was in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery, Luebbering, MO. Memorials may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery or to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Luebbering, MO.
