Josephine Ann Graf, known to all as JoAnn, of Gerald, MO, formerly of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Gerald on February 8, 2014, having reached the age of seventy-six years, six months and seven days. JoAnn was born in St. Clair, MO on August 1, 1937, daughter of Daryle Dixon and Virginia M. Dixon nee Ely. As a young woman she was united in marriage and was blessed with one child.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hensley and boyfriend, Kevin Grable, of St. Clair, MO; by her granddaughter, Krystal Hensley, of St. Clair; by her great-grandchild, Riley M. Mouser of St. Clair; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Daryle and Virginia Dixon; by one grandson, D.J. Hensley; and by one brother, Harlen W. Dixon.

Joann was a Christian and member of Duly Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. During her working years, she was employed as a laborer by Missouri Knife Company in St. Clair for about eight years. JoAnn had many pastimes she enjoyed, among them watching televison and cooking for her family. She made many friends during the years spent at both St. Clair Nursing Center and Gerald Nursing and Rehab Center and many fond memories were created.

A kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with the Rev. Jim Watson officiating. Memorials may be made to the family. A private committal will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Londell, MO..
