As a young woman she was employed at various jobs in the St. Clair area, including International Shoe Company, The Pipe Factory and Pursley’s U-Save Mart, but for most of her life, she made caring for her home and family her career. Irmalee enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music and she and Maurice often went to Blue Grass festivals. Above all else, Irmalee was happiest when spending time with her family and her granddaughters were her pride and joy.
A kind, sweet and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
