Marvin Eugene Nevills of Union, MO, departed this life suddenly in Beaufort, MO, on May 14, 2021, having reached the age of fifty-two years, five months and ten days. Marvin was born in Washington, MO, on December 4, 1968, son of Marvin Ray Nevills and Mary Louise Nevills nee Schatzler. On June 3, 1989, he was united in marriage to Clara Mae Johnson and two children came to bless this union.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Clara Nevills of Union, MO; by his children, Brandi Wells and husband, John, Sr. and Jacob Nevills of Union by his grandson, John T. Wells, Jr. of St. Clair, MO; by his father, Marvin R. Nevills and companion, Phyllis Foster, of Licking, MO; by his mother, Mary Nevills of Union; by his grandfather, Carl Nevills of Licking; by five siblings, Daniel Foster and wife, Jamie, of Houston, MO, Bruce Foster and wife, Tonya, of Houston, Nathan Wells of the state of TN, Charlotte Pritchett and husband, Donald, of Union and by Dennis Nevills and wife, Christy, of St. Clair, MO; by aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his brother, Hether Foster.

Marvin was a Christian and member of New Pentecostal Church of St. Louis in Eureka, MO. He was currently employed at Bolzenius Tire Company in Union, MO, serving the company for last nine years. He had previously worked at Charlie Counts Ford and Commercial Tire Company, both in Union, MO. Marvin had a variety of interests throughout his life, including growing flowers and caring for and mowing his lawn. He was a jack of all trades that enjoyed working on cars and fixing anything that needed fixing. He loved his 1972 Chevy pickup truck and was proud to drive it with the super motor he had installed. Marvin liked hot rods and motorcycles, going to car shows and driving fast. He was especially fond of his pet cat Wheezy, his birds and pet dogs General and Daisy. What meant most to him was time spent with his family. The love they shared and the many memories they created will forever be cherished by them all.

A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 21, 2021 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Pastor David Walker officiating. Interment was in Virginia Mines Cemetery in Lonedell, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
