Walla Emogene Hollandsworth, known to all as Jean, of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Washington, MO, on May 6, 2021, having reached the age of ninety-one years, two months and twenty-three days. Jean was born in Hopkins, KY, on February 13, 1930, daughter of Charlie Majors and Hilda Majors nee Phillips. As a young woman, she was united in marriage and blessed to have four children. On October 7, 1967, she was united in marriage to Marvin Lee Hollandsworth and they were blessed to have twenty-six years together.

Jean is survived by three children, Johnnie Arnold, known to all as John, and wife, Amy, of Lonedell, MO, Brenda Truel and husband, Garland, of Ft. Myers, FL and Patti Arnold of St. Clair, MO; by five grandchildren, Christopher Truel and wife, Jodi, of South Gate, MI, Kerum Steele and husband, Brian, of Gurley, AL, Amanda Frede of Cuba, MO, James Todisman III, known to all as Jimmy, of St. Clair and Tammy LaValle and husband, Kevin, of Washington, MO; by thirteen great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Hilda Majors; by her husband, Marvin Hollandsworth; by her daughter, Nancy Anderson-Anson; by her grandson, Aaron B. Truel, and by three brothers, Charles, Carl and Clyde Majors.

Jean was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior. She had attended various churches in St. Clair during her life, including First Baptist Church, First Assembly of God and the St. Clair Christian Church. During her working years, she was employed at Von Weise Gear in St. Clair, retiring after thirty years of service to the company. She enjoyed an active life with many hobbies and interests. Taking care of her yard and raising beautiful flowers was a favorite pastime. She also enjoyed doing crafts, especially making things with plastic canvas. Going to Blue Grass concerts with her friends was another of her favorites. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her children and grandchildren and many wonderful memories were created.

A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Raymond Laramore officiating. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the Disables American Veterans.
