Donna Marie Ejchler of St. Clair, MO, departed this life at her home, on Saturday, March 27, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-five years, eight months and ten days. Donna was born in St. Clair on July 17, 1955, daughter of Raymond Eugene Wagner and Susie Ann Wagner nee Hawkins. On October 6, 1974, she was united in marriage to Stanley Walter Ejchler and two children came to bless this union.

Donna is survived by her husband, Stanley Ejchler of St. Clair, MO; by her children, Stanley Chad Ejchler, known to all as Chad, and life companion, Rhonda Wright, of St. Clair and Crystal Lynn Downey, known to all as Lynn, and husband, Beryl, of Bourbon, MO; by six grandchildren, Ashley and Dylan Downey of St. Clair, Bobby Downey of Bourbon, Josephine Ejchler, known to all as Josey, of Newburg, MO, Edward Ejchler of St. Clair and Dustin Wright of Vernal, Utah; by four great-grandchildren, Haley, Khloe, Maggie and River Downey all of Bourbon; by three siblings, Bill Down, JoAnn Jody Halmich, known to all as Jody, and husband, Gary, and Judy George, all of St. Clair; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Susie Wagner, and by four siblings, Kenneth, Floyd and Arthur Eugene Downey and Carolyn Hemker.

Donna was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith. During her younger years, she had worked as a machine operator at Kris Kay Products in Union, MO, but after starting her family, she stayed home with her children. Her family was always her first priority and after her children were grown, she loved babysitting and helping to raise her grandchildren. Spending time outdoors was a favorite pastime, whether it was around the backyard pool or on the river or just working in her yard. She always enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts, especially working with beads. In recent years, she passed the time coloring in adult coloring books. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her children and grandchildren, as each of them held a special place in her heart.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Fern Nye officiating. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
