Phyllis Ann Stahlman of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Union, MO, on January 16, 2020, having reached the age of eighty years, five months and eleven days. Phyllis was born in Sullivan, MO, on August 5, 1939, daughter of Clyde Shelby Flora and Bertha Mae Flora nee Shadrick, known to all as Mae. On April 28, 1956, she was united in marriage to Glen Oscar Stahlman and three children came to bless this union.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Glen Stahlman of St. Clair, MO; by her son, Brad Stahlman and wife, Deanna, of Union, MO; by her daughters, Judy Rahmeyer and husband, Gary, of Osage Beach, MO, and Debbie Crews and husband, Les, of Washington, MO; by two brothers, Gordon Flora and wife, Rose, of Leasburg, MO, and Darrell Flora, Sr. of Bonne Terre, MO; by two sisters, Darlene Davis of Sullivan, MO, and Carole Roloff and husband, Robert, of Washington; by her special sister-in-law, Geraldine Flora of St. Clair, MO; by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mae Flora; by one brother, Lloyd Flora, and by one sister, Deloris Ealer.

Phyllis was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith. She enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO when her health allowed. She made caring for her home and family her priority in life and never tired of her duty. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, doing crafts of various sorts, especially ceramics, and decorating her home for the holidays. She was a talented seamstress in her younger years, making many of the clothes for her children. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and the many precious memories they created will live in their hearts forever.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2020, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Gary Rahmeyer officiating. Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union, MO. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
