On July 3, 1981, he was united in marriage to Kathryn Lauree Deavers and two children came to bless this union.

Paul is survived by his wife, Kathryn Baumann of St. Clair; MO, by his daughter, Stephanie Fitzgerald and companion, Dale Helton, of Pacific, MO; by his son, Brandon Baumann of St. Clair; by one brother, John Baumann and wife, Katherine, of Cuba, MO; by one sister, Mary Jo McGowan and husband, Charles, of Japan, MO; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia Baumann.

Paul was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was a past member of Victory Church in St. Clair, MO, now known as Roots Church, having attended for about ten years. He was a machinist by trade and had worked in the industry for many years. He was employed by Standard Machine in Kirkwood, MO, for many years. Paul was currently employed by PLZ Aeroscience Corporation in St. Clair, having worked there for the past five years. Paul liked spending time outdoors and gardening was one of his favorite hobbies. He enjoyed raising beautiful flowers and was happy to share the produce he raised with family and friends. He had a fondness for dogs and enjoyed the companionship of little Shih Tzu. Nothing made him happier than the time he spent with his family and many wonderful memories were created.

A devoted and loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
