Lenora Faire Cartwright of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in St. Clair, MO, on October 4, 2015, having reached the age of seventy-nine years, eleven months and twenty-six days. Lenora was born in West Fork, MO, on October 8, 1035, daughter of William Lloyd Holt, known to all as Lloyd, and Dorothy Maxine Holt nee Halls. On October 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Walter William Cartwright and seven children came to bless this union.

Lenora is survived by five children, Sherry Mossoney and husband, David, of Union, MO, Walter W. Cartwright, J R. and wife, Betty, of Leslie, MO, Randy Cartwright of Lonedell, MO, Melody Pawlak and husband, Danny, of Dittmer, MO and Sam Cartwright of Lonedell; by two sisters, Delores Pleis of St. Louis, MO and Rosalee Vence of Shippensburg, PA; by two brothers, David Miner and wife, Juanita, of Union, MO and Benjamin Coffman of St. Louis, MO; by twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, brothers, and sisters-n-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Holt and Dorothy Holt; by her step-mother, Alvina Louise Holt nee Sohn, known to most as Beanie: by two sons, Terry W. Cartwright, Sr. and Danny Cartwright, Sr.; by one grandson, Terry W. Cartwright, Jr.; by two brothers, Ross Miner and Troy Coffman and by two sisters, Wilma Whitworth and Janet Coffman.

Lenora was a Christian and long time member of Virginia Mines Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. During her working years, she was employed as an assembler by Missouri Knife in St. Clair, MO, retiring after forty-four years of service to the company. Lenora was an outgoing lady and she always stayed busy and maintained a positive outlook. She was a great cook and she enjoyed baking. She continued to work in her yard throughout her life and raised beautiful flowers. Crocheting was another of her hobbies. Lenora's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and each of them was special to her. She loved family gatherings and socializing with her many friends.

A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with the Rev. Bob Herron officiating. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, Washington, MO.
