OBITUARY

Todd Patrick Alewine of St. Clair, MO, departed this life at his home on July 20, 2015, having reached the age of forty-six years, five months and six days. Todd was born in Sullivan, MO, on February 14, 1969, son of Walter Don Alewine and Cherlyn Alewine nee Leach. On May 10, 2001, he was united in marriage to Julie Ann Click and he loved her son as his own.

Todd is survived by his wife, Julie Alewine of St. Clair; by one son, Nicholas Click and girlfriend, Holly Schilly, of St. Clair; by his mother, Cherie Freeman and husband, Jerry, of Russellville, AR; by his parents-in-law, Raymond and Janet Click of Richwoods, MO; by one brother, Mike Kamper of St. Clair; by one sister, Kris May of Atkins, AR; by brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Walter Alewine.

Todd was a tree trimmer by trade, having started out in his career with Nelson Tree Service in Fenton, MO. It was during those years of employment, that he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 2 of St. Louis, MO. After five years with Nelson Tree Service, Todd went to work for Asplundh Tree Experts in Union, MO. He was employed with the company for fifteen years, and working as a foreman. He was musically talented and was passionate about playing his guitar. Spending time on the river with his family was his favorite pastime. He was a wiz on the computer and spent his free time playing games on the computer or playing chess. Nothing made him happier than the time he spent with Julie and many wonderful memories have been created.

A devoted and loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2015, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. David Click officiating. Private committal will take place at a later date in the Click family cemetery in Fletcher, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
