On April 23, 1966, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Kay Hall and they were blessed to have forty-eight years together.

Gary is survived by his wife, Rhonda Huff of St. Clair, MO; by his brothers, Denny Huff of St. Clair, Tim Huff and companion, Sandy Just, of St. Clair and John Huff and wife, Kim, of St. Clair; by his sisters, Shirlene Pickle of Chesterfield, MO and Robin Bechtel and husband, Kelly, of Wildwood, MO; by his step-brothers, Joe Dierker and wife, Karen, of Lonedell, MO and David Dierker and wife, Rose, of Lonedell; by his best friend’s daughters, Nichole Miranda of Union, MO and Tara Plachowski of Las Vegas, NV; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Ella Huff; by his step-mother, Glenis Dierker Huff; by his parents-in-law, Ray and Florence Hall; and by his long time friend, Tom Pearson.

Gary was a Christian and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, entering on November 1, 1965, and receiving his honorable discharge on December 23, 1968. During his working career Gary was a journeyman bricklayer. He was a fifty-year member and retiree of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers, Local #1 of St. Louis, MO. By the time Gary retired he was a master craftsman. He was an outdoorsman at heart and had a variety of interests and hobbies throughout his life. He loved going fishing and gigging with family and friends and many great times were had on the river bank frying the fish. Hunting, especially bird hunting, was another favorite hobby. In past years, he had enjoyed raising cattle, as well as racing motor cross and showing Tennessee Walking horses. Since his retirement, he and Rhonda had enjoyed traveling and meeting up with many old acquaintances’. Gary knew no strangers and his keen sense of humor made the times shared with family and friends, joyous and full of laughter. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.
