Janet Sue Hutchison of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in St. Clair on March 24, 2013, having reached the age of fifty-two years, seven months and twenty-five days. Janet was born in St. Louis, MO, on July 27, 1960, daughter of Carl Adrian Griffin and Dorothy Jean Griffin nee Rudolph. On August 29, 1980 she was united in marriage to Eddie Boyer and three children came to bless this union. On September 7, 2012 she was united in marriage to Craig Eugene Hutchison and their families were joined as one.

Janet is survived by her husband, Craig Hutchison of St. Clair, MO; by her children, Jennifer Pope and husband, David, of Union, MO, Eddie Boyer, Jr. and wife, Debbie, of St. Clair and Carl E. Boyer and wife, Marrissa, of St. Clair; by her step-daughter, Dawn Renee Hutchison of the state of Missouri; by her sister, Karlyn Hendrix and husband, Mark, of Sullivan, MO; by six grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy Griffin.

Janet was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior, having been raised in the Pentecostal faith. She was a past member of American Legion Post 347 Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Post 2482 Ladies Auxiliary, both of St. Clair. Janet had a variety of hobbies and interests throughout her life, including fishing and cooking. She lived her life to the fullest and loved having a good time. Janet made caring for her home and family her career in life and she never tired of her job. She was looking forward to the arrival of her first great-grandchild. Janet loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. They held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.

A kind and loving wife, mother, step-mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, niece, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services were held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Roger Koster officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 2482 in St. Clair, MO or the Missouri Veteran’s Home in St. James, MO.
