Larry Lee Saling, Jr., known to his family as Bub, of St. Clair, MO, departed this life at St. Clair, on October 4, 2009, having reached the age of twenty-two years, eleven months and three days. Larry was born in Washington, MO on October 31, 1986, son of Larry Lee Saling, Sr. and Linda Diane Saling nee Reagan.
Larry is survived by his parents, Larry L. Saling, Sr. of St. Clair and Diane Munzlinger and husband, Kevin, of St. Clair; by his grandparents, Penny Sohn and husband, Bernie, of Sullivan, MO, Bob Reagan and wife, Ann, of Pensacola, FL and Kathryn Saling of St. Clair; by his step-grandparents, Lester and Brenda Munzlinger of High Ridge, MO; by his great-grandmother, Gazelle Gay of Pensacola; by his sister, Dawn White and husband, Grant, of Newton, IL; by his step-sister, Amanda Munzlinger and boyfriend, Bob, of Fenton, MO; by his special friend, Megan Emerson of Winfield, MO; by many aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, two nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Larry was a life long resident of St. Clair and graduated from St. Clair High School in 2005. As a young boy, he was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in St. Clair and had also attended Parkway Church of the Nazarene in St. Clair. In more recent years, he had visited Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Clair. Larry was an active young man and during his high school years and enjoyed playing football. Hunting and fishing were other favorite pastimes. Spending time with his friends and listening to rock music was his favorite pastime. The time spent with family gave him great joy and he cherished the time shared.
A kind and loving son, grandson, step-grandson, great-grandson, brother, step-brother, nephew, great-nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair with the Rev. Harold Lumley officiating. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair DARE fund.
