Alfred was a Christian and life long member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Robertsville, MO. Alfred quit school at a young age to help support the family. He worked at various jobs including working for Bremmor and Meyers Dairy Farms, farming their own ground, helping local farmers put up hay and helping on his brother-in-law’s trash route. He was a truck driver by trade and had hauled freight for various companies for over thirty three years, as well as owning his own dump truck. He was also a past member of the Teamsters Union. He was a great mechanic and often was called on to work on tractors for others. Alfred loved to farm and raising cattle and hogs was a favorite pastime. In younger years, he had enjoyed going rabbit and squirrel hunting. Alfred loved cats and a stray cat never went hungry at Alfred’s. Alfred had a keen sense of humor and many wonderful memories have been created with his family. Although he had no children of his own, he loved his many nieces and nephews dearly and he always had time to spend with them.

A devoted and loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
