On August 12, 1989, he was united in marriage to Joyce Marie Lowe and four children came to bless this union.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Lester Summers; by one daughter, Katrina Summers, and by his infant sister, Mary Summers.

Lee was a Christian having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. Throughout most of his working career, he was a self-employed mechanic. He loved rebuilding old cars and building model cars. Lee loved the outdoors, whether fishing or camping or just going for walks. He especially enjoyed having barbeques. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be treasured by them all forever.

A kind and loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Orvil Lee Summers entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
