OBITUARY

Marjorie Lynn Watson, known to all as Lynn, of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Richmond Heights, MO, on January 3, 2021, having reached the age of forty-nine years, six months and twenty days. Lynn was born in Sullivan, MO, on June 13, 1971, daughter of Rev. Jimmie Robert Watson and Edith Marjorie Watson nee Hutchison, known to all as Marge.

Lynn is survived by two brothers, James Watson and wife, Tammy, of Union, MO, and Jeffrey Watson and wife, Laura, of St. Clair, MO; by her sister, Kathy Nevills and husband, Butch, of St. Clair; by her sister-in-law, Judith Watson of Ft. Walton, FL; by four step-brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Jim and Edith Watson; by her step-mother, Marian Watson, and by one brother, David Watson.

Lynn was a Christian and member of Friendship Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. For many years she attended Autumn Hill School in Union, MO. She loved participating at the Sheltered Work Shop in Sullivan, MO, and had been doing so for about twenty years. Lynn was a happy, sweet person. She loved playing bingo, various card games and Yahtzee. Doing word searches and coloring were other hobbies she enjoyed. She was also a big fan of Michael Jackson and often listened to his music. The love and many precious memories she created with her family will be cherished by them all forever.

A kind and loving sister, sister-in-law, step-sister, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Brian Meade officiating. Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union, MO. Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church in St. Clair or The Sheltered Work Shop in Sullivan, MO.
