Matt is survived by three brothers, Don Duncan and wife, Nancy, of St. Louis, MO, Mark Duncan and wife, Cheryl, of Lonedell, MO and Luke Duncan of Mineral Point, MO; by one sister, Sherry Gay and husband, Gary, of Union, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis, Sr. and Shirley Duncan; by one brother, Dennis K. Duncan, Jr., and by one nephew, Joshua Duncan.

Matt was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. During his working career, he worked at Brown Shoe Company in Union, MO, and later as a laborer doing commercial construction. Matt was an outdoorsman at heart and loved to go fishing and hunting.
