OBITUARY

Deloris Patsy Todd, known to all as Patsy, of Union, MO, departed this life at her home on July 13, 2020, having reached the age of seventy-eight years, one month and twenty-seven days. Patsy was born in Boss, MO, on May 16, 1942, daughter of Homer Hosten Day and Gladyne Golda Day nee Sellers. On July 29, 1961, she was united in marriage to Louis Edward Todd and two children came to bless this union.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Louis Todd of Union, MO; by her children, Victor Todd of Union and Kylene Lottman and husband, Timothy, of Marthasville, MO; by her grandchildren, Nathaniel Todd of Union, Ryan Todd of Washington, MO, Robin Sargent and husband, Kris, of Marietta, GA, Jennifer Nicola of Norcross, GA, Timothy James Lottman, known to all as TJ, and wife, Courtney, of Union, Tyler Miller of St. Clair, Adrein Marcotte of Marthasville and Conner Bell of Marthasville; by her brother, Louie Day and wife, Billie, of St. Clair, MO; by her sisters, Shirley Landwehr and husband, Jerry, of Japan, MO and Genelle Quattlebaum of St. Clair;; by three great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Gladyne Day; and by her brother-in-law, Jeff Quattlebaum.

Patsy was a Christian and active member of Life Stream Church in Washington, MO, where she served as a greeter and was part of the Missions Team. During her working career she was employed as a designer in the kitchen and bath industry, having worked for Jerry’s Quality Woodworking in St. Clair, MO, Modern Kitchen & Bath in St. Louis, MO and retiring from Archway Kitchen & Bath in St. Louis. Patsy was an outgoing lady in every sense of the word. She spent most of her life, working for her Lord and Savior in various ways. She and Louis had volunteered for MAPS, helping to build churches throughout the United States. She also volunteered at Your Other Mother Pregnancy and Positive Parenting, in Union, MO. Patsy had graduated from St. Clair High School in 1960 and had helped to create a scholarship fund from her class, giving money out each year. Patsy was an active person that was always busy. She loved to raise beautiful flowers, work in her yard and spend time with her family. She was proud to have helped Louis build their home. Her family was Patsy’s pride and joy and she cherished the time they spent together.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held after 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Life Stream Church, Washington, MO, with the Rev. Paul Scheperle officiating. Interment was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Boss Cemetery in Boss, MO. Memorials may be made to Your Other Mother, or Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund.
