OBITUARY

James Thomas Shaw, known to some as J.T., of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in St. Louis, MO on March 15, 2020, having reached the age of thirty years, three months and nine days. James was born in St. Louis on December 6, 1989, son of Sean Lynn Shaw and Laurie Jean Shaw nee Chetin.

James is survived by his parents, Sean Shaw and wife, Mary, of Villa Ridge, MO, and Laurie Weber and husband, Bruce, of High Ridge, MO; by his grandparents, John and Sheila Brinkley of Lonedell, MO; by his sisters, Tiffany Shaw of DeSoto, MO, Crystal Brinkley and Samantha Brinkley, both of High Ridge; by his daughter, Aurora Rose; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, one niece, one nephew, cousins and many friends.

James was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was currently employed as a laborer at Shady’s Landscaping in Lonedell, MO, having been with the company for over a year. James enjoyed working out and lifting and bench-pressing weights. He loved the outdoors and spending time on the river with his friends. He also liked watching horror movies on television. James was a sociable man that enjoyed the companionship of his friends. The time spent with family and the many precious memories they created will forever live on in their hearts forever.

A kind and loving son, grandson, brother, father, nephew, great-nephew, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Rev. the Bob Lopinot officiating. Interment was in Fairview United Methodist Cemetery, Grubville, MO.
