Annabelle Boswell of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in St. Clair on March 2, 2020, having reached the age of seventy-seven years, eleven months and two days. Annabelle was born on March 31, 1942, daughter of Elzy Young and Ever Young nee Jeffery. On September 9, 1957, she was united in marriage to Paul Boswell and six children came to bless this union.

Annabelle is survived by her daughters, Dolly Jeffery and husband, Jack, of Mobile, AL, Jane Jeffery and husband, J.R., of St. Clair, MO, Tangela Bryer and husband, Dicky, of Greensburg, PA, and Paula Wells and husband, Leonard, of St. Clair; by her sisters, Mattie Young and husband, Tony, Jane Burns and Lavonne Cameron all of St. Clair; by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild on the way, one aunt, one uncle, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents, Elzy and Ever Young; by her husband, Paul Boswell, and by two infant sons, Matthew and Steven Boswell.

Annabelle was a devoted and faithful Christian and member of Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Sullivan, MO. For most of her life, she was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God Church in St. Clair, which closed several years ago. She was very supportive of her church and volunteered in any way she could. Annabelle faithfully read her bible and witnessed to others whenever she had the opportunity. She made caring for her home and family her career in life and never tired of her job. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in their hearts and spending time with them gave her great joy. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all.

A loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held from 4:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2020 to 1:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Mercy Ministries, 2084 N. Commercial, St. Clair, MO. Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Mercy Ministries with the Rev. Ryan Martin officiating. Interment was in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Washington, MO. The family of Annabelle Boswell was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
