OBITUARY

Rebecca Jean Bird, known to all as Becky, of Union, MO, departed this life in Union on November 6, 2019, having reached the age of fifty-six years, three months and twenty days. Becky was born in Brownsville, TN, on July 16, 1963, daughter of Bill Joe Bird and Olive Jean Bird nee Tanner, known to all as Jean.

Becky is survived by her mother, Jean Bird of Lonedell, MO; by two brothers, Bill D. Bird and wife, Tammy, of Warrenton, MO and Tim Bird and wife, Lynne, of Lonedell; by her sister-in-law, Ruby Bird of Union, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Bill Joe Bird, and by one brother, Cameron Bird.

Becky was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior and member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. For most of her working years, she was employed at Lafayette Industries in Manchester, MO, as an assembly worker. Becky was a happy person that loved the fellowship of family and friends. She liked to get her hair and nails done at a salon when ever possible. Playing Bingo was her favorite pastime but she enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds. She was happiest when she was spending time with her family and many wonderful memories were created.

A sweet and loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 12;00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. John Dover officiating. Entombment was in the Haven of Rest Mausoleum at Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the Prader-Willi Foundation.
