Bruce Franklin Chrisco of Rosebud, MO, formerly Catawissa, MO, departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on August 14, 2019, having reached the age of sixty-four years, ten months and twenty-four days. Bruce was born in Hannibal, MO, on September 20, 1954, son of Warren Lewis Chrisco and Virginia Lee Chrisco nee Farrell. In 2006, he began sharing his life with Larry Kisner and they were blessed to have thirteen years together.

Bruce is survived by his companion, Larry Kisner of Rosebud, MO; his sister, Judy Sager and husband, Don, of Wentzville, MO; by his nieces, Heather Siegel and husband, Andrei Popov, of Seattle, WA and Loren Siegel of Maryland Heights, MO; by his uncle, Frank Farrell and wife, Betty, of Hannibal, MO; by his cousins, Terry Farrell and wife, Nancy, of Pittsburgh, PA, Sheri Gaw of Gravois Mills, MO and Aleta Ryan of Jacksonville, IL; by one great-nephew and many friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Virginia Chrisco.

Bruce was a Christian, having converted to the Catholic faith as a young man. He had a Masterís Degree in Business and had worked at various companies during his working years, including Corrigan and Marshal Ford, both in St. Louis, MO. When Bruce retired, he was working as a mail carrier in St. Louis County. Bruce loved to spend time outdoors and passionate about animals. He always enjoyed the companionship of a dogs and dearly loved his pets, Katie, Reba and Earl. He enjoyed caring for and showing Tennessee Walking Horses and Llamas. Working on the farm was a favorite hobby. Bruce was an outgoing, friendly and humorous man and his keen wit will be missed by many. He and Larry loved to travel and many wonderful memories had been created.

A devoted and loving companion, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at St. Maryís Catholic Church in Villas Ridge, MO. Funeral mass was held at 11:00 AM with Father Mark Bozada officiating. Private entombment took place in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Backstoppers or to the Franklin County Humane Society.
