Lawrence Ervin Lesley, known to all as Larry, of Robertsville, MO, departed this life at his home, on August 2, 2019, having reached the age of fifty-six years and twenty-four days. Larry was born in St. Louis, MO on July 8, 1963, son of Donald Ray Lesley, Sr. and Wanda Teresa Lesley nee Bullard. On July 31, 1987 he was united in marriage to Cynthia Diane Specking and one daughter came to bless this union.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lesley of Robertsville, MO; by his daughter, Lori Lesley, of St. Peters, MO; by four grandchildren, Larry Brannan, Jonathan Daven, Savannah Daven and Shane Daven, all of St. Peters; by his step-father, Paul Vipond of St. Charles, MO; by his parents-in-law, Darlene and Jan Specking of Robertsville; by his brother, Donald Ray Lesley, Jr., known to all as Ray, of St. Charles; by one sister, Donna Lesley of St. Charles; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Donald, Sr. and Wanda Lesley; and by one sister, Beth Lesley.

Larry was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior. For a good portion of his working career he was employed as a truck driver for an alcohol distributing company. He enjoyed fishing, bow hunting for deer and bowling. Larry was an avid sports fan and loved to watch baseball, football, hockey and especially UFC matches. What meant most to him was time spent with his family and friends. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live on in their hearts forever.

A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, step-son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Larry Lesley entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
