Anthony Wayne Tucker, Sr., known to most as Tony or Clean, of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Washington, MO, on July 21, 2019, having reached the age of forty-six years, eleven months and nine days. Tony was born in St. Louis, MO, on August 12, 1972, son of Henry Charles Arthur Tucker and Linda Mae Tucker nee Waller. On October 10, 2010, he was united in marriage to Barbara Marie Lewis and they were blessed to have four children.

Tony is survived by his wife, Barbara Tucker of St. Clair, MO; by his son, Anthony Tucker, Jr. of St. Clair; by his daughters, Kristin Lewis and boyfriend, Joe Martin, of Granite City, IL, Samantha Marsh of Tallahassee, FL and Brianna Kimbro of Granite City; by his grandchildren, Ari and Harper Marsh of Tallahassee, Hunter Young of Granite City and Lilly and Easton Martin of Granite City; by his mother-in-law, Gloria Lewis nee McIntyre of Ironton, MO; by two brothers, Gary Phegley and Robert Phegley, both of the state of IL; by his sisters, Dawn Vankirk and boyfriend, Matt Barr, of Rolla, MO, Maria Tucker of East St. Louis, IL, and April Tucker of the state of MO; by his special uncle, George Tucker and wife, Eliane, of St. Charles, MO; by brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Linda Tucker, and by his father-in-law, William Lewis.

Tony was a Christian , believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps, entering on May 22, 1990 and receiving his honorable discharge on June 30, 1994, after having attained the rank of SGT. He was a member of American Legion Post 347 in St. Clair. During his working career he was a foreman at Gershensen Construction Company in Eureka, MO. He had been an active member of International Laborerís Union, Local 110 of St. Louis, MO for twenty-three years. Tony was a member of The Descending Demons Motorcycle Club and a supporter of Hells Lovers motorcycle club. His passion was riding his black 2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide. He loved hunting and fishing and riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. Taking his son to the track to race four-wheelers was a favorite pastime. What meant most to him was time spent with family and friends. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live on in their hearts forever.

A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with the Rev. Reese Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment with full military honors was held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 26, 2019, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
