Deborah Lynn Peterson, known to all as Debbie, of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO, on May 4, 2019, having reached the age of fifty-two years, two months and seventeen days. Debbie was born in St. Louis, MO, on February 17, 1967, daughter of James Rick Peterson and Dana Jewell Peterson nee Norrid. As a young woman she was united in marriage to Michael David Ealer and four children came to bless this union. In later years, she was blessed to have another son. Later, she and Michael began sharing their lives and have been together for over forty years.

Debbie is survived by her life companion, Michael Ealer of St. Clair; by two sons, Michael Ealer and Logan Holman, both of St. Clair; by three daughters, Ericka Whitworth and husband, Brad, Sarah Ealer and Olivia Ealer, all of St. Clair; by four grandchildren, Destiny Whitworth, Lily Long, Liam Holman and Hank Whitworth, all of St. Clair; by her parents-in-law, Jim, Sr. and Lois Ealer of St. Clair; by her brother, Rick Peterson and life companion, Jeanne Hoffmann, of Manchester, MO; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Rick and Dana Peterson, and by one infant sister, Rose Peterson.

Debbie was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior. She had various jobs during her working career, including working at One Stop Gas Station, working as a waitress and at Precision Rebuilders. Her most recent job was in the produce department at Country Mart in St. Clair, MO. Her greatest joy came from being the best mom and homemaker she could be. Her many hobbies included caring for her yard and cutting grass, crafting and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Taking her children to the creek when they were young was a favorite pastime, as was sun tanning. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren.

A loving and devoted companion, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. John Dover officiating. Private committal will take place at a later date.
