Veronica May Haas-Nappier of Sullivan, MO departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on April 8, 2019, having reached the age of thirty-two years, five months and seven days. Veronica was born in St. George, UT on September 1, 1986, daughter of Ralph Michael Dimick and Valerie Jean Lake nee Bell. As a young woman she was blessed to have one daughter. She began sharing her life with Charles Dwight Nappier seven years ago and married on July 8, 2017, having again been blessed with two more children.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Charles Nappier of Sullivan, MO; by her children, Emily Haas, Abby Nappier and Seth Nappier, all of Sullivan; by her parents, Valerie Lake and companion, Tom Bishop, of Phoenix, AZ and Ralph Michael Dimick of Oregon; by her brother, Benjamin Sloman of Kentucky; by her sisters, Kelly Trujillo and husband, Marcellino, of Phoenix and Elizabeth Sloman and companion, Angel Regalado, of Phoenix; by her grandfather, Roger Bell of Utah; by her grandmother, Audrey Dimick of Denver, CO; by her mother-in-law, Joyce Drennen and husband, Ed, of Sullivan; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, one great-niece, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins and many friends.

Veronica was preceded in death by her grandmother, Fredene Hill; by her father-in-law, Lonnie Nappier; and by two nieces, Mirage Trujillo and Alissa Sloman.

Veronica was a Christian and had been attending New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan, MO. During her working career she was employed at Wal-Mart in Sullivan for about a year and most recently as a machine operator at Tops in Union, MO, formerly known as Pendaflex. She loved to go camping and play the guitar. Veronica was very artistic and was adept at drawing and sketching. She was an outgoing person who enjoyed the company of friends and making them laugh. What meant most to her was time spent with her family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.

A kind and loving wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, sister, sister-in-law, niece, great-niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial visitation was held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at New Testament Baptist Church, located at 962 N. Church St., Sullivan, MO, 63080. Memorial services were held at 10:00 AM at the church. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. The family of Veronica May Haas entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
