Frank Allen Giger, known to all as Bud, of Bronx, NY, formerly St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Bronx on November 27, 2018, having reached the age of thirty-five years and one month. Bud was born in Creve Coeur, MO, on October 28, 1983, son of Mark Allen Giger and Laura Marie Giger nee Jokisch. As a young man he was blessed to have one son.

Bud is survived by his parents, Laura Giger of St. Clair, MO, and Mark Giger of Middlebrook, MO; by his son, Legion River Seltzer of Carson City, NV; by his grandmother, Ellen Giger Fleek of House Springs, MO; by one brother, Andrew Giger of Pacific, MO; by two sisters, Amy Click and husband, Adrian, of St. Clair and Kelly Pracchia and husband, Josh, of Gerald, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Bud was a Christian and believed in the Lord as his Savior. He grew up in St.Clair, MO and attended St. Clair High School. On March 4, 2003, he entered the United States Army, serving tours of duty in Iraq, from February 2004 to February 2005 and September 2007 to December 2008. He received his honorable discharge on June 13, 2009 after having attained the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of American Legion Post 347 of St. Clair, MO. Bud had a passion for photography and after his discharge moved to Bronx, NY to attend the School of the Arts. He loved attending college and had continued to further his education. He was a giving young man who loved to help those in need.

A kind and loving son, grandson, father, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

American Legion services were held at 6:45 PM led by Post 347 of St. Clair and memorial services were held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Charles Keith officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 347, St. Clair, MO or the Disabled American Veterans.
