OBITUARY

Tim Williams of Cedar Hill, MO, formerly St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Cedar Hill on October 22, 2018, having reached the age of seventy-six years, ten months and fourteen days. Tim was born in Lonedell, MO, on December 8, 1941, son of Farris Ely Williams and Mabel Marie Williams nee George. As a young man he was united in marriage and blessed to have two daughters. On December 2, 1972 he was united in marriage to Karen Doyle.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Sheila Kay Shriver of Ragland, AL, and Kimberly Sue Pursley and husband, Michael, of St. Clair, MO; by his grandson, Cody Lewis of St. Clair; by three sisters, Virginia Landing and husband, Jerry, of Sullivan, MO, Jeanette Taylor of St. Clair and Margie Pruessner and husband, Delmar, of Union, MO; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Farris and Mabel Williams; by his wife, Karen Williams, and by his sister, Rosemary Bagley.

Tim was a Christian and member of St. Clair Southern Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. For many of his working years he was employed as a sales manager for Yuma Freight, a freight trucking company in Yuma, AZ, where he lived for many years. His favorite hobby was collecting replicas of old cars. He also enjoyed going fishing and barbequing for the family. What meant most to him was time spent with his family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will forever live in their hearts.

A kind and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Bill Savage officiating. Interment was in Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell, MO. Memorials may be made to St. Clair Southern Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO.
