As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have three daughters.

Christine is survived by her daughters, Misty Langan and husband, Peter, of Troy, MO, Taylor Valdez and husband, Juan Uribe, of Marquand, MO, and Emily Cathcart of Cedar Hill, MO; by her father, Leonard Hofmeister, Jr. and wife, Eileen, of Fenton, MO; by her brothers, Craig Hofmeister of St. Clair, MO, Michael Hofmeister and wife, Heather, of Festus, MO and Denny Sweeny and wife, Julie, of High Ridge, MO; by her sisters, Lorri Jinkerson of Washington, MO and Melissa Hofmeister of the state of IA; by her grandchildren, Ayla Langan of Troy, MO, Giovanni Uribe of Marquand, MO, Aiden Langan of Troy, Ciara Langan of Troy and Victoria Uribe of Marquand; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Arflack.

Christine was a Christian having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as her Savior. She had made caring for her home and family her career and priority in life and she never tired of her job. She was a very happy and good natured person who loved talking to her friends on the phone, playing games on her computer and shopping online. What meant most to her was time spent with her family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will never be forgotten.

A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services were held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. John Dover officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
