Tarry Lynn Anderson of Gerald, MO, formerly St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Washington, MO, on September 13, 2018, having reached the age of sixty years, ten months and four days. Tarry was born in St. Clair on November 9, 1957, son of Homer Levern Anderson and Ethel Virginia Anderson nee Wagner. As a young man he was united in marriage and blessed to have one daughter.
Tarry is survived by his companion, Elaine Fowler of Gerald, MO; by his daughter, Sue Wheeler and husband, Charles, of Denver, CO; by Elaine's children, Tena Pratt and Nick Grube and wife, Alisha, all of Gerald; by his grandson, Colin Wheeler of Denver; by Elaine's grandchildren, Alisha, Isabella, Trinity and Bennett Pratt and Riley Grube, all of Gerald; by two brothers, Gary and Rodger Anderson, both of St. Clair; by two sisters, Carol Stroschein and Carlyss Schutte, both of St. Clair; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Tarry was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ethel Anderson;; by two brothers, Mark Anderson and Dennis Anderson, known to all as Bud, and by one sister, Judy Reagan.
Tarry was a Christian of the Baptist faith, believing in the Lord as his Savior. During his working years, he was employed as a woodworker and installer for a custom cabinet shop in Union, MO. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests during his life and fishing was one of his favorite pastimes. He cherished the time spent with family and friends and many wonderful memories were created.
Private committal services will take place at a later date at Green Mound Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO.
