OBITUARY

John William Bardot of Sullivan, MO, formerly of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO, on September 3, 2018, having reached the age of seventy-six years, ten months and twenty-three days. John was born in Luebbering, MO, on October 11, 1941, son of William Daniel Bardot, known to all as Bill, and Nealie Bardot nee Anderson. On August 20, 1966, he was united in marriage to Juanita June Pendegraft and one son came to bless this union.

John is survived by his wife, Juanita Bardot of Sullivan, MO; by his son, Johnny Bardot and wife, Pam, of Sullivan; by his grandson, Matthew Bardot of Union, MO; by one niece, two nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nealie Bardot, and by his sister, Annie Wagner.

John was a Christian, having been raised in the Methodist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, entering on December 4, 1963 and receiving his honorable discharge on December 3, 1965. During his working career he was employed by the Missouri Department of Transportation doing road maintenance, retiring in 1998 after thirty years of service. He enjoyed going fishing and camping and doing different projects in his workshop to keep himself busy. His pet Jack Russell Terrier, Roscoe Willie, was his pride and joy. What meant most to him was time spent with his family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live in their hearts forever.

A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
