Eric Michael Jezierski of St. Clair, MO, departed this life at his home on August 2, 2018, having reached the age of forty-six years, six months and thirteen days. Eric was born in St. Louis, MO, on January 19, 1972, son of Ronald Michael Jezierski and Sharon Teresa Jezierski nee Delaloye.

Eric is survived by his parents, Ronald and Sharon Jezierski of Lake Ozark, MO; by one brother, Jeff Jezierski and girlfriend, Helga Komen, of Eureka, MO; by two sisters, Kristina Moses and husband, Ronald, of Fenton, MO and Erin Jezierski of Fenton; by five nieces and nephews, Jay and Abby Jezierski of Eureka and R. J., Olivia and Isabelle Moses of Fenton; by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Eric was a Christian and member of the St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Leo John Steck Council 4667 of St. Clair. After graduating from high school Eric enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, entering June 26, 1990 and receiving his honorable discharge on June 25, 1994. He then obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Animal Science from the School of the Ozarks near Branson, MO. He furthered his education with the University of Phoenix, obtaining his Master's Degree in Business Administration. On September 28, 2004, he enlisted in the United States Army, retiring as a Captain on December 23, 2014. Eric was proud to have defended our country in the Gulf War, in deployment to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq and had received many awards. He was honored to have received a Bronze Star Medal. He was currently a member and Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 2482 in St. Clair, MO. After his retirement from the military, Eric formed Jezierski Livestock LLC and was raising Brahma cattle. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, with rifle, bow and musket. Fishing was another of his hobbies. Eric was a historian and especially loved military history and studied it extensively. He often took part in the Civil War Reenactment. Nothing made Eric happier than the time he spent with his family. Although he had no children of his own, his nieces and nephews held a very special place in his heart.

A devoted and loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held after 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with a VFW Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral mass was held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO, with Father Eric Kunz officiating. Interment with full military honors was held at 12:45 PM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 2482 of St. Clair, MO.
