Spike is survived by his children, Chasity Redhage and husband, Jared, of Union, MO and Tate Kamper of St. Clair, MO; by his granddaughter, Natalee Redhage of Union; by his father, Doug Kamper and wife, Carol, of St. Clair; by his parents-in-law, Diann Morgan of St. Clair and Harold Goodwin and wife, Sandy, of Hayti, MO; by his grandparents, Opal Kamper of St. Clair and Annette Woodcock of Luebbering, MO; by his brother, Buck Kamper and wife, Patti, of Lonedell, MO; by his sister, Dawn Kleinheider and husband, Dennis, of Washington, MO; by his step-siblings, Adam Berning of St. Clair and Selena Berning of Luebbering; by his sisters-in-law, Debbie Hinson and husband, Bill, of St. Clair and Charity Goodwin of Cuba, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Spike was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kamper; by his wife, Tammy Kamper, and by his brother-in-law, Jeff Goodwin. Spike was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior, having been baptized at Virginia Mines Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. During his working career he was employed as a laborer for Shade Tree Service Company in Fenton, MO, serving the company from 1994 to 2008.
