OBITUARY

Cherril June Wall of St. Louis, MO, formerly of St. Clair, MO and Washington, MO, departed this life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on June 30, 2018, having reached the age of eighty-six years. Cherril was born in St. Louis, MO on June 30, 1932 daughter of Hubert Medley and Maureen Medley nee Hathaway. On December 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Eugene Nighton Wall and two children came to bless this union.

Cherril is survived by four grandchildren, Christina Frank of St. Louis, MO, Steven Frank of Pacific, MO, Naomi Lumos and husband, Randy, known to most as Ox, of St. Clair, MO and Angela Wall and fiancÚ, Jeremy Millfelt, of Pacific; by two sisters-in-law, LaDonna Wall of St. Clair and Velma Goins of Hot Springs, AR; by eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Cherril was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Maureen Medley; by her husband, Eugene Wall, and by her children, Deborah Wall and Nighton Wall, known to all as Nick.

Cherril was a Christian and long time member of Heartland Baptist Church in Oakville, MO. She was a cosmetologist by trade and had worked throughout her life. She was employed at the Pink Poodle Salon in Webster Groves for ten years, the Unique Coiffures Salon in South County, MO for ten years, Great Clips for about four years and at the Covenant Chai Beauty Salon in St. Louis, MO, for about twenty years and bought the salon in 2013. Cherril's family was always her first priority in life and she opened her home to her grandchildren and enjoyed raising them. She had many other pastimes during her life, including photography and sewing. She loved gardening and tulips, roses and violets were her favorite flowers.

A devoted and loving grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment was in the Green Mound Cemetery, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
