Obituary
OBITUARY

Lisa Ann White of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO, on June 27, 2018, having reached the age of fifty-five years and eleven months. Lisa was born in East St. Louis, IL, on July 27, 1962, daughter of Gordon Leonard Wright, II and Gloria Jean Wright nee Barker. As a young woman she was united in marriage and two sons were born of this union. On May 19, 1996, she was united in marriage to Rickie Lee White and they were blessed to have twenty years together.

Lisa is survived by two sons, Robert Brethauer and wife, Rachel, and their unborn child, and Scott Brethauer, all of Belleville, IL; by her mother, Gloria Wright of St. Clair, MO; by her brother, Gordon Leonard Wright, III, known to all as Len, and wife, Shelly, of St. Clair; by her sister, Robin Wright-Brozich and husband, Thomas, of Springboro, OH; by three step-children, Nicole White and Rachel Cakeson and husband, Dave, of Tempe, AZ and Jake White and wife, Ruthie, of Sun City, AZ; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Leonard Wright, II, and by one nephew.

Lisa was a Christian, having been raised in the Methodist faith. She had worked outside the home as long as her health allowed. As a young woman, she enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing softball and soccer. Caring for her home and children gave her great joy. In recent years, she was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and rarely missed a televised game. Spending time with her family gave her great joy. Helping to care for her mother was a priority in recent years. She was excited to be having her first grandchild soon and cherished the time she spent with her sons.

A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Larry Dunn officiating. Private committal will take place at a later date.
