Helen Mae Sugerman, known to most as Sharon, of Robertsville, MO, departed this life at her home on June 16, 2018, having reached the age of seventy-seven years, one month and thirteen days. Sharon was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, on May 3, 1941, daughter of Ambers Earl Martin and Marie Ellen Martin nee Yotter. On August 30, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert Harry Sugerman and they were blessed to have one son.

Sharon is survived by her son, David Sugernan and wife Shawn, of Kyle, TX; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and her dear friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ambers and Marie Martin, and by her husband, Robert Sugerman.

Sharon was a Christian and long time member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Grubville, MO. For many years, she and Robert had made their home in St. Louis, MO. During those years she was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was employed as a medical transcriber at a hospital throughout her working years. After retiring, they made their home near Lonedell, MO, and loved living in a rural setting. Sharon enjoyed sewing and quilting and doing many other crafts. She liked flowers and the beauty of nature. Her church friends were her family and she cherished the time they spent together.

A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
