Bette was born in Altoona, PA, on December 30, 1928, daughter of James Withrow Sweezy and Agnes Sweezy nee Mitsko. On August 4, 1960, she was united in marriage to John J. Quinn and they were blessed to have thirty-nine years together.

Bette is survived by her sister, Carole Hutchinson and husband, Eldon, known to all as Dutch, of St. Clair, MO; by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Bette was preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Sweezy, and by her husband, John J. Quinn.

Bette was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior. While living in New York she attended a Presbyterian church near her home. After high school she had attained her Bachelor's Degree and for several years after college she worked as a secretary in the business world. Bette loved music and was a talented pianist and vocalist. Singing in several chorus groups was a favorite pastime. She and her husband John had traveled extensively and had seen much of the world. Although she had no children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews dearly and cherished the time she spent with them.

A kind and loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
