Velma Louise Carr of Robertsville, MO, known to most as Louise, departed this life in Fenton, MO, on May 17, 218, having reached the age of seventy-four years, two months and twenty-three days. Velma was born in St. Louis, MO, on February 24, 1944, daughter of Lee Cheatham Carr and Velma Marie Carr nee Keith. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have four children.

Louise is survived by one son, Kevin Andres of Sullivan, MO; by three daughter, Sherry Homenick and boyfriend, Ricky Muertz, of Robertsville, MO, Lisa Biffar of Waterloo, IL and Geraldine Horn of Waterloo; by four grandchildren, Tiffany DeClue and husband, Jason of Robertsville, Nikki Deaton of Columbia, IL, Kelly Chomhirun and husband, Dave, of Glen Carbon, IL and Maggie Biffar of Waterloo; by two brothers, Elmer Carr of Ironton, MO, Chuck Keith and wife, Marie, and Darrell Keith, all of Toney, AL; by seven great-grandchildren, Nikolas, Charlie and Brooklyn DeClue, Jakob Deaton and Liam Hayes, and Kylie and Brin Chomhirun; one brother-in-law, Allen Naeger; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her son-in-law-law, Leon Biffar, by one brother, Dale Keith, and by one sister, Helen Naeger.

Louise was a Christian of the Catholic faith, believing in the Lord as her Savior. For most of her working years, she was employed by Citi Corp Bank in Creve Coeur, MO. During her life, she had enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking for her family. In recent years she enjoyed watching her favorite shows on television and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Many wonderful memories have been created and the family will never forget the love shared with Velma.

A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 4: PM on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. Committal will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Caledonia, MO. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO.
