OBITUARY

Chris Shawn Enloe of Steelville, MO, formerly Brentwood, MO, departed this life in Sullivan, MO, on April 2, 2018, having reached the age of fifty-five years, four months and seven days. Chris was born in St. Louis, MO, on November 25, 1962, son of Paul Ross Enloe and Barbara Ellen Enloe nee Seago. On July 2, 1996, he was united in marriage to Christina Lucille Meek and he loved her child as his own.

Chris is survived by his wife, Christina Enloe of Steelville, MO; by his son, Mike Levin and girlfriend, Sara Kleine, of Granite City, IL; by two grandchildren, Trent and Lily Levin; by his sisters, Dawn Enloe Moore of Hazelwood, MO and Becky Narkiewicz and husband, Jeff, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; by two sisters-in-law, Pamela Hank of Steelville, MO and Cynthia Joyce and husband, Jim, of Grand Junction, CO; by one brother-on-law, Christopher Meek of Escandito, CA; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Enloe and Barbara Young; and by two brother-in-laws, George Meek, Jr. and Jerry Hank.

Chris was a Christian of the Catholic faith and in past years had attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Steelville, MO. For most of his working career he worked as a free lance photographer for various companies. He was also a past member of the Vichy Fire Department, having served the department from 1999 to 2008. Photography was his passion and he enjoyed taking pictures of landscapes and people. Playing poker with his friends was another of his pastimes. In recent years he had become an avid Cardinals Baseball fan and watched all their games on television. Chris was fond of dogs and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs, Twister and Sadie. Nothing made him happier than the time he spent with his family. His son and grandchildren held a special place in his heart and many happy memories were created.

A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Father Eric Kunz officiating. Interment was in Fisher Cemetery, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Fisher Cemetery, St. Clair, MO.
