Ruby Belle Gaasch of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in St. Clair on December 28, 2017, having reached the age of ninety-six years and twenty-seven days. Ruby was born in Robersville, MO on December 1, 1921, daughter of Jack L. Wilson and Lillie Belle Wilson nee Perkins. On July 4, 1941 she was united in marriage to Victor Leo Gaasch.
Ruby is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Suttner; by nieces, nephews, great, great-great, great-great-great and great-great-great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie Wilson; by her husband, Victor Gaasch; by her brother, Denzil "D.E." Wilson; by five sisters, Carmen Duemler, Sophia Ogle, Clio Waters, Lena lewis and infant Melda Wilson.
Ruby was a Christian and believed in the Lord as her Savior. She was a past member of Community Church in St. Clair, MO and had previously attended St. Clair United Methodist Church. During her working career she co-owned and managed Vic Tractor and Implement with her husband for some thirty years. She loved the outdoors, going boating and water skiing with Vic's. She also loved travelling, riding around looking at scenery and going out to eat. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own and enjoyed going to watch them play sports. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.
A kind and loving sister-in-law, aunt, great, great-great, great-great-great, great-great-great-great aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Ruby Belle Gaasch entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
