Susan Anita Allen, known to all as Sue, departed this life at her home in Lonedell, MO, on October 21, 2017, having reached the age of seventy-eight years, one month and twenty days. Sue was born in St. Louis, MO, on September 1, 1939, daughter of Donald Edward Lottes and Amelia Erna Lottes nee Schierioth. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have two daughters. On January 20, 1979, she was united in marriage to Noah Eugene Allen and they were blessed with a son and she accepted Noah's children into her family.

Sue is survived by her children, Rebecca DuBuque and companion, Hilda Gadis, of Lonedell, MO, Janna deLeon of Bells, TX and Daniel Allen and life companion, Cathy Dierker, of Lonedell; by her sister, Donna Williams and husband, Kenneth, of Whitesboro, TX; by six grandchildren, Riki Allen of Lonedell, Tony DuBuque and girlfriend, Anndreya, of Lonedell, Lindsay Newbanks and boyfriend, Tom, of High Ridge, MO, Kayleigh Murphy and husband, Mike, of St. Clair, MO and Beth and John deLeon of Marshfield, MO; by five great-grandchildren, Connor, Elijah, Braedy, Josephine, and Emersyn; by her step-children, Pauletta Esparza Villegas of DeSoto, MO and Lonnie Allen of Cedar Hill, MO; by five step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Amelia Lottes, and by her husband, Noah Allen.

Sue was a devout Christian, faithfully believing in the Lord as her Savior. For many years she and Noah hosted bible studies in their home. During her working career she was employed as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in St. Louis, MO. Sue also worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Cedar Crest Manor in Washington, MO. She loved to work in her garden and bake cookies and cakes. Sue had a caring spirit and a keen sense of humor too. What meant most to her was time spent with her family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.

A loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 7:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. John Dantico officiating. Graveside services were held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
