Jared was born in St. Louis, MO, on November 22, 1999, son of Kenneth Alan Hoffmann and Cinthia Lynn Hoffmann nee Boal.

Jared is survived by his parents, Kenneth Hoffmann of St. Clair, MO, and Cinthia Weidler of Oklahoma City, OK; by his grandparents, Mary Hoffmann Hutchison and husband, Francis, of Florissant, MO, and Ron and Marcia Boal of the state of Tennessee; by his step-grandmother, Julie Hoffmann of St. Charles, MO; by his brothers, Theodore Hoffmann and girlfriend, Nicole, of Alton, IL and Joseph Weidler of Oklahoma City, OK and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his first niece; by a very close friend of the family, "Aunty" Faith Powers; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.

Jared was a senior at St. Clair High School, where he was popular with students and staff. He developed a keen interest in football when he played eighth and ninth grade Junior High football. He was an ardent supporter of the school's football team. He loved following football in general, was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and knew the statistics of all teams and players. Jared also loved to play X-Box, X-Box 1 and various other video games, especially with his brother. What meant most to him was time spent with family and friends.

A kind and loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, great-nephew, soon to be uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
