OBITUARY

Fayron Ray Fritz of Washington, MO, departed this life at his sister's home in St. Clair, MO, surrounded by the love of his family, on August 2, 2017, having reached the age of sixty years, six months and twenty-five days. Fayron was born in St. Louis, MO on January 8, 1957, son of Leo Franklin Fritz, Sr. and Opal Ilene Fritz nee Johnson. As a young man he was united in marriage and blessed to have one son.

Fayron is survived by his son, Cody Fritz of Miami, FL; by his girlfriend, Judy Pehle and her grandson, Frankie, of Washington, MO; by one brother, Leo Fritz, Jr. of Owensville, MO; by four sisters, Frankie Northcutt and husband, Bud, of St. Clair, MO, Peggy Crabtree and husband, John, of St. Louis, MO, Ruth Wille of Labadie, MO and Helen Fritz of Cuba, MO; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Fayron was preceded in death by his parents, Leo, Sr. and Opal Fritz; by two brothers, Tommy Fritz and Gary Fritz, and by one sister, Rosemary Schwartz.

Fayron was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. For the past ten years he owned and operated Old Dog's Auto Body in Washington, MO. Fayron was a talented musician and in his younger years, had his own country band, Wild Country. He was an outdoorsman at heart and spending time outdoors was a favorite pastime. Fritz was passionate about fishing and every chance he got, he had a fishing pole in hand. All of his family was very dear to him and he cherished the time they spent together, creating memories that will last forever.

A kind and loving father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Rev. Kerry Honeycut officiating. Interment was in New Chapel Hill Cemetery in Sullivan, MO. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Russell Colonial Funeral Home.
