Susan was born in St. Louis on June 26, 1962, daughter of Eldren Henry Sulhoff and Irene Sulhoff nee Cox. As a young woman she was blessed to have two daughters.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Jessie McDaniel and companion, Joshua Stevenson, of St. Clair, MO, and Amie Magruder of Union, MO; by her mother, Irene Sulhoff; by five grandchildren, Katherine McDaniel of St. Clair, Jaxen DuVall of Union, Hunter Stevenson of St. Clair, Lily Stevenson of St. Clair and Dominic DuVall of Union; by three sisters, Diane DeMuth and husband, Tom, of Minneapolis, MN, Kathleen Vaughan and husband, Jay, of St. Louis, MO and her twin sister, Linda Sulhoff, of St. Louis; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Eldren Sulhoff.

Susan devoted her working life to serving the St. Clair Public School system for thirty years, as a teacher, guidance counselor and many other positions. She received her Master's Degree in Special Education from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was also a member of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. Susan was an avid reader and loved listening to country music, especially Reba McEntire. She loved living in the country and was proud of her wood splitting skills. What meant most to her was time spent with her family. Her daughters and grandchildren, which were her pride and joy, held a special place in her heart, as she did in their hearts.

A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
