Sandra Lee Churchill of Duluth, MN, departed this life in St. Clair, MO, on June 7, 2017, having reached the age of seventy-one years, eight months and fifteen days. Sandra was born in Duluth, MN, on September 22, 1945, daughter of Harvey Churchill and Ethel Churchill nee Weiler. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have two daughters.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Lindzy of Leslie, MO and Theresa Lopresti and husband, Joe, of Fairfax, VA; by four grandchildren, Justin Lindzy of Union, MO, Joey Lopresti of Manhattan, NY, Michael Lopresti of Pittsberg, PA and Luke Lorpesti of Fairfax; by one great-grandchild, Kolton Lindzy; by one brother, Larry Churchill and wife, Wendee, of Duluth, MN; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Ethel Churchill, and by one sister, Linda Churchill.
Sandra was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working years, she was employed as an office manager for Roland's Grocery Store in North Beach, MD, having worked there for many years. Sandra enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed going shopping and gambling with family and friends. Above all else, nothing was more important to Sandra than her children and grandchildren and she cherished the time they spent together.
A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Duluth, MN.
