Ronald Alan Ford, known to all as Ron, of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in Robertsville, MO, on June 4, 2017, having reached the age of fifty-three years, eleven months and sixteen days. Ron was born in St. Louis, MO, on June 18, 1963, son of Clarence Leonard Ford and Carlene Louise Ford nee Snow.

Ron is survived by his parents, Clarence and Carlene Ford of Lonedell, MO; by two sisters, Sherry R. DeGraaf of San Antonio, TX and Gina L. Hayes and husband, Ron, of St. Clair, MO; by his nephew, Justin Pewitt and girlfriend, Taylor, of Robertsville, MO; by his niece, Jessica Goodman and husband, Blake, of Sullivan, MO; by one aunt, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Michael Ford.

Ron was a Christian, having been baptized as a young boy at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO and he most recently visited Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. During his working career he was employed as a laborer at Hussman Refrigeration in St. Louis, MO, serving the company for twenty-six years. Ron loved old hot rod cars and going four wheeling on his property near Vichy, MO. He was artistic by nature and enjoyed drawing, sketching and painting. He also loved to go hunting and was an enthusiastic deer hunter each deer hunting season . Although he had no children of his own, he loved his niece and nephew dearly and enjoyed the times they shared. The love he shared with his family and many precious memories they created will forever live in their hearts.

A kind and loving son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with the Rev. Jeff Scott officiating. Interment was in Lower Davis Cemetery in Vichy, MO. Memorials may be made to Lower Davis Cemetery in Vichy.
