OBITUARY

Doris Mildred Reynolds of DeSoto, MO departed this life in DeSoto on April 27, 2017, having reached the age of ninety-one years, two months and twenty-four days. Doris was born in St. Louis, MO on February 3, 1926, daughter of Frederick Bueckman and Olga Elizabeth Bueckman nee Bay. On January 10, 1947 she was united in marriage to Arthur Thomas Reynolds, Jr. and two sons came to bless this union.

Doris is survived by her sons, Michael F. Reynolds, Sr., who joined her in Heaven on April 29, 2017, and wife, Joan, of Festus, MO and Jon Reynolds and wife, Collene, of St. Clair, MO; by one brother, Ralph E. Bueckman, Sr. of Fenton, MO; by seven grandchildren, Doris Gibbs of Festus, Caroline Chisholm and husband, Pat, of Festus, Patty Rushing of Festus, Michael Reynolds, Jr. of Festus, David Ellis and wife, Monica, of Green Cove Springs, FL, Clinton Ellis and wife, Danielle, of Washington, MO and Bill Reynolds and wife, Kylee, of Auburn, IL; by fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Olga Bueckman; by her husband, Arthur Reynolds, Jr.; and by one brother, Eugene Bueckman.

Doris was a Christian and long time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Clair, MO, being very active in volunteering in many church activities. She made caring for her home and family her career in life and never tired of her duties. What meant most to her was time spent with her family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live in their hearts forever.

A loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial visitation was held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Clair, MO. Memorial services were held at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment was at Holy Trinity Columbarium. The family of Doris Mildred Reynolds entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
