OBITUARY

Jesse Dale Brown of Lonedell, MO, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO, on April 21, 2017, having reached the age of thirty-seven years, eight months and fourteen days. Jesse was born in Town and Country, MO, on August 7, 1979, son of Micheal Thomas York and Karen Diane York nee Okert. Jesse was later adopted by Ricky Allen Brown. On December 17, 2002, he was united in marriage to Mindy Sue Cox, and they were blessed to have one son.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Mindy Brown of Lonedell, MO; by his son, Jacob Brown of Lonedell; by parents, Karen Brown and companion, Charles Prilwetz, of St. Clair, MO and Rick Brown and wife, Jan, of Bonne Terre, MO; by his mother-in-law, Melissa Hassler and husband Tim, of St. Clair; by grandparents, Gladys Okert Noble and husband, Frank, of Manchester, MO and Ruby Brown Frost of St. Charles, MO; by one brother, Shane Brown and wife, Stephanie, of Lonedell; by one sister Chrystal Brown and fiancÚ, Steve, of Valley Park, MO; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Jesse was baptized in the Lutheran faith believing in the Lord as his savior. He enjoyed playing the guitar as well as singing. In Jesse's younger years he sang with the choir at church and in his high school. Jesse was self employed as a carpenter and roofer. He also liked to target shoot and play video games. Some of Jesse's favorite pastimes were fishing with Jacob and creating lasting memories that Jacob will cherish forever. Above all else, he was a family man and nothing was more important and made him happier than the time he spent with his family and friends.

A devoted and loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, great-nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with his brother Shane Brown officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Russell Colonial Funeral Home.
