OBITUARY

Mark Edward Pendegraft of St. Clair, MO, departed this life suddenly in Washington, MO, on May 12, 2016, having reached the age of forty-one years and twenty-two days. Mark was born in Washington on April 20, 1975, son of Daniel Lee Pendegraft and Barbara Sue Pendegraft nee Missey. As a young man, he was united in marriage and one son came to bless this union. In later years, Mark was blessed to have another son.

Mark is survived by his sons, Jacob and Gavin Pendegraft, both of St. Clair, MO; by his mother, Barbara Pendegraft of St. Clair; by two brothers, David Pendegraft and wife, Gina, and Kevin Pendegraft, all of St. Clair; by one sister, Amanda Smith and husband, Don, of St. Clair; by his former wife and friend, Diana Carver of House Springs, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Pendegraft, and by two infant brothers, Tracie and Leroy Pendegraft.

Mark was a Christian and member of Mercy Ministries in St. Clair, MO. During his working years, he had worked for many years as a laborer for B & W Foundations. In more recent years, he was employed for River Edge Products in St. Clair, MO, as a driver in the product distribution division. Nothing made Mark happier than the time he spent with his boys. He enjoyed fishing, especially if they were with him. Listening to music, and usually singing along, was a favorite pastime. The many wonderful memories created with family and friends, will be cherished by them all forever.

A kind and loving father, son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2016, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. David Godat officiating. Private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO.
